Anindya Sen
Anindya Sen is Professor of Economics at the University of Waterloo and a renowned expert in behavioural economics and big data applications. He is an advocate for data literacy and the use of advanced statistical methods for societal benefit. Professor Sen has been a consultant to the federal and provincial governments and leading Canadian businesses. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed academic journals such as the Canadian Journal of Economics, Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics, Economics of Education Review, International Tax and Public Finance, Journal of Regulatory Economics, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, International Review of Law and Economics, Labour Economics, and Canadian Public Policy.
He is a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail, National Post, and Toronto Star, and has been an invited speaker at many industry and public policy conferences. Professor Sen is also a Research Fellow of the C.D. Howe Institute of Canada and a member of the University of Waterloo Artificial Intelligence Institute and Waterloo Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute.

Sondeep Sharma
Sondeep Sharma is the technology lead behind Trecster. He is also the founder of Evantage Media, a digital agency in the Toronto area specializing in e-business and cloud hosting solutions. Before founding Evantage Media, Sondeep was the project manager responsible for launching Canada’s first flat rate wireless data network with Telus Mobility. A graduate of the University of Toronto and a data and mapping enthusiast, he has also worked on technology solutions for FIFA, The Canadian Olympic Committee, AT&T and AMD. It is his belief that technology and education can be leveraged to bring equality and opportunity to everyone.
